Hi Elaine!
Just sending an email to let you know that Pugsly is settling in great!! We decided to change his name to Crowley, or Mr. Crowley :-) and he is very responsive to it! He keeps trying to get the cats to play with him in his adorable butt-up-in-the-air pose, but they just sort of look at him funny and walk away. They really don't care much about his presence, my second oldest, Drake, was actually laying with him on the couch earlier. He did have a couple of accidents last night, but a stern "no" and an immediate trip outside seems to have solved that so far, as he was perfect all day today. He got good and tired with two long walks today to check out his new digs, and he's been a couch potato the rest of the day. He's instantly attached to me, and follows me everywhere, and apparently sits fixed at the door when i leave.
He was great the whole ride home, and we got to stop at Petco on the way, where he got to pick out his own bed and a bone and a few more new toys! He was sooo excited! He does seem to be jumpy and nervous around strangers, but he should get better the more we socialize him. I attached a few pictures for you. I can't thank you enough, he is the perfect little guy for us!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Frances and Dave... and Crowley... and the kitties!
